Best Mega So Far

UK South East Geocaching Mega... Sussex

I've recently returned from a week in Sussex at what to date I reckon is my best UK Mega event. A slick programme, a great venue (bar including), interesting trails of caches, lots of scenery, super side events and a good crowd too.

Anticipating rain, I packed with sufficient wet weather clothing, but in the end, it was hot hot hot, sunny and warm. A beautiful summer.

For anyone recalling the beach at Eastbourne underneath the cliffs of Beachey Head you will remember how warm the rocks on the beach were. I had to strip to my pants and turn the air con to max on the way back to Ardingley.... and the steam train.. the Bluebell railway... great adventure!
