Hello World

This is my first post on the new gopubcaching.uk site.

Happy New Year!

Welcome to the caching world. I registered with geocaching.com in April 2007. I started looking for caches but didn't log any online until August 2010. It took a few years to backfill previous finds, making repeat visits and logging as new. My first GPS receiver was acquired in 2003. It was a Blue Garmin eTrex device which wasn't particularly reliable under tree cover. I later replaced it with a Garmin eTrex Legend, a yellow device that did well on battery life but suffered from a maximum 6-character cache code. Today I use the Garmin eTrex 30x.

My original caching site had been running for a few years but the content was getting stale, so I've invested in some time to build a brand-new site and you're looking at it now!

.. and so the adventure continues... I shall add notes and stories on these pages. Enjoy.
