Lockdown unlocked
Caching again after months of lockdown
After months of lockdown albeit with a little bit of permitted daily exercise (really not enough for a caching day trip) I was finally able to hook up with some other cachers and enjoy the English countryside at the beginning of summer when the vegetation is green and the skies are bright blue.
I'd arranged to hook up with Omiwahn to do a new circuit created by Longpod near Lambourn. The series, some 35 or so, spread out over a 4-hour walk (it took us that long because we were filming our exploits) was created by Lonpod to reflect that COVID-19 stopped his nearly-seven-year run of daily cache finds, 2509 days in all. I think my best run is just 126 days and I doubt I'll be able to reproduce this unless I move away, retire or get laid off!
We remained distant through out the walk and even bumped into a few familiar faces (virtual bumps, not actual physical). Now we just wait for the safe return of caching events...
