Summer Solstice Caching

Watch out for the plants
The huge amount of rain that we've had over the last month has provided a frenzy of growth in the plant world. Just like one of my childhood favourite films, The Day of The Triffids, things fell from the heavens resulting in carnivorous plants taking over the world. Stinging nettles may not be quite in the same league as triffids but in my mind they have the capacity to attack, particularly when wearing sleeveless tops and above knee leggings. I returned from a brief after-work cache on the summer solstice with legs completely covered in rashes from walking through a sea of shoulder-height nettles, thistles and other itchy greenery. The track was actually identified as a public bridleway which means I legally could have taken my bicycle for a ride along the trail. No chance! Check my YouTube channel for exclusive footage. I'm going to report it to Wiltshire's highways authority.
